This consortium engages three ABET- accredited HBCUs situated in 50 miles range to foster unprecedented cooperation and perform as a team to support DOE-NNSA missions and objectives. University of the District of Columbia (UDC) with expertise in the post-processing and education will lead the efforts to join hands with Howard University (HU), Morgan State University (MSU), Lincoln University (LU) and three DOE-NNSA the national Lab/Plant, Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC), Oakridge National Lab (ORNL), and Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) to form a team of highly capable PI and industry/lab partners. This university partnership will establish a pipeline of the skilled workforce while solving the high impact technical problems tackled by the DOE-NNSA lab and industry partners.
